Important Notice For Students Intending to Study Medicine or Dentistry in the UK

The 2007 UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) is a requirement of the admission process for 26 University Medical and Dental schools in the UK and must be taken by candidates who wish to apply for entry in 2008 or apply for deferred entry in 2009.

UKCAT registration opens  1 May 2007
UKCAT testing begins  18 June 2007
Bursary and voucher application deadline  1 September 2007
UKCAT registration deadline  26 September 2007
UKCAT testing deadline  10 October 2007
UCAS application deadline  15 October 2007

There will be no fixed date for sitting the exam. Candidates wishing to apply for entry to participating Universities in 2008, or intending to apply for deferred entry in 2009, will be required to register for the test before the 26 September 2007 and sit the test before 10 October 2007. Candidates will be able to choose to sit the test at testing centres in your country, for details of these centres please visit www.ukcat.ac.uk.
